Significant changes to Busway services are being introduced from Sunday 25th July.
Route B will revert to departing from and terminating at Drummer Street Bus Station, and will no longer serve points between the city centre and Trumpington Park & Ride. Double deckers will be reintroduced – actually tri-axle 100-seater vehicles, so greatly increasing capacity.
Route C is suspended for the summer, but will return in September.
Routes A and B will both operate every 20 mins, Monday-Saturday daytime, and every 30 minutes Sunday daytime. During the evening both routes will operate every 30 minutes, Monday-Saturday. On Sunday evenings route B will provide an hourly service. There are no Sunday evening journeys on route A. There will be additional route A services along the Busway during peak commuter times, and a three further trips an hour from Cambridge New Square to Trumpington Park & Ride throughout the day, Monday-Friday.
Later evening services are being introduced on route V5.
