Bus services are continually changing. Our posts on service updates cover those changes that are planned, where services might be added or withdrawn, or running to a new timetable. What about short term disruption due to roadworks or operational changes? We can’t keep on top of all the possible changes, but instead can point you at sources of information to help you when planning your journey.
Operator updates
Some operators publish updates on service cancellations to social media. Real time tracking and apps ought to show the changes (but sometimes does not). The following links are to service updates published on the websites of some of the operators:

Busway Works
The County Council is making a series of safety improvements along the Guided Busway, and this rolling programme of work impacts on Busway services, timetables, timekeeping, frequency, and occupancy of the buses.
The County Council website has a page explaining the background to the work and giving details of progress and future plans.
Since November, the County Council has also published a newsletter detailing the most recent progress and immediate future plans. As well as being on the web at the address above, it’s also possible to have those newsletters sent by email. To subscribe, simply follow this subscription link.
For information as to how this work impacts on services – and, in particular, timetable information and news of diversions that result from the work – the operators’ websites are the place to go.
